Who Is Susan Fockler?

Susan FocklerSusan spent most of her career in the hotel consulting, quality assurance, and magazine advertising industries. She has been self-employed for over 20 years and has handled the financial and organizational administration of her own Hotel & Restaurant Hospitality consulting firm, as well as her late husband’s Penn Brown & Associates magazine advertising representative business.

The idea of providing daily money management services came to Susan in 2010 when she was handling her sister’s financial affairs during the last seven weeks of her life and then served as the executor of her estate. Susan wondered how individuals who were vulnerable due to physical or mental limitations coped when they were unable to pay their own bills, reconcile their bank statements, etc. If a trusted and experienced relative or friend was not available, where did these individuals turn?

Member of the AADMMA discussion with her long-time tax accountant spurred Susan to do some online research, where she found the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM). Susan attended their Business Basics seminar in May 2012 and participated in AADMM’s annual conference in November 2013. Through AADMM membership, Susan engages in continuing education on such topics as tax issues, technology, and elder-law updates as they relate to daily money management.

Susan brings to her work years of organizational experience, a commitment to provide the highest level of personalized service, and a desire to serve her clients with integrity and compassion.
